Greater Valley Basketball Camp is open to boys and girls of all skill levels. Whether your child is picking up a basketball for the first time or already competes for a school or AAU team, our camp provides instruction and competition that helps every player improve.

Camp runs Monday through Friday throughout our summer camp sessions.
Camp begins each day at 7:30 AM and concludes at 2:30 PM. Campers enjoy a full day of skill development, games, competitions, and team activities in a structured and positive environment.
Camp is held at Ansonia Middle School, where campers have access to indoor and outdoor basketball courts along with classroom space for leadership activities, film sessions, and educational discussions.
No. Players of all experience levels are welcome. Our coaches adjust instruction to meet each camper's ability while continuing to challenge them throughout the week.
Our coaching staff includes experienced college coaches, former collegiate athletes, professional players, and basketball trainers who are committed to teaching the game the right way. Every camper receives instruction from coaches who have played and coached at a high level.
A: No. Greater Valley Basketball Camp welcomes players from Ansonia and all surrounding communities. While Ansonia residents attend free of charge, they must provide multiple forms of proof of residency during registration to verify eligibility.
Yes. Thanks to community support and local partnerships, camp is free for Ansonia residents. Registration is still required, as space is limited.

Absolutely. Our goal is to provide every camper with personal coaching, feedback, and encouragement throughout the day. We emphasize quality instruction—not just supervision.
Yes. All campers must complete online registration before attending. Registration helps us maintain appropriate coach-to-player ratios and ensures every participant has a safe and organized experience.

We understand that summer schedules can change. If your child misses camp, simply let us know. While missed days cannot always be made up, we'll do everything we can to help them transition back into camp activities.

Yes. Creating a safe, positive, and welcoming environment is one of our highest priorities. Campers are supervised throughout the day by experienced staff who are committed to providing a fun and organized experience for every participant.
Camp will continue as scheduled. Since we have access to indoor facilities, weather will not interrupt camp activities.
Yes. Throughout the summer we may capture photos and videos to showcase camp activities on our website and social media. If you prefer your child not appear in promotional content, simply let us know during registration.
Parents are welcome to stop by during designated times and are encouraged to attend special competitions, awards, and end-of-session activities throughout the summer.
Yes lunch is not provided although food is available at additional cost. We will have food every wednesday and friday which will be available at additional cost.
One-on-one training provides individualized instruction tailored specifically to the athlete. Every workout is designed around your strengths, weaknesses, and goals, allowing for maximum improvement in the shortest amount of time.
Our training programs are designed for boys and girls of all ages and skill levels. Whether you're just learning the fundamentals or preparing for your next school, AAU, or college season, we'll build a plan that helps you reach your goals.
Most private training sessions last 60 minutes to 2 hours, giving athletes plenty of time for skill development, game-like drills, conditioning, and individualized coaching.
Training locations vary depending on gym availability and the type of session. Athletes will receive location details after booking.
Training sessions can be booked directly through our website. Simply select your preferred service, choose an available date and time, and complete your reservation online.

Absolutely. We welcome athletes of every experience level. Our goal is to help each player improve at their own pace while building confidence and strong fundamentals.
Yes. We work with middle school, high school, AAU, prep school, and collegiate athletes looking to elevate their game and compete at a higher level.
For the best results, we recommend training at least 1–3 times per week, along with consistent practice outside of scheduled sessions. Improvement comes through repetition and commitment.
Yes. Small group sessions allow athletes to train with teammates or friends while still receiving quality instruction. Group training combines skill development with live competition and game situations.
